1 killed, 1 injured in Fresno County crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Fresno County near Lost Lake.

Officers say a man drove off the road near Friant and Birkhead -- south of Lost Lake Sunday night. The car flipped multiple times. The driver died, and his female passenger was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The CHP says it's not clear why the man crashed. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
