Tuesday, December 11, 2012
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County authorities are trying to find a gun, ammo, and other items that were stolen from a sheriff's deputy's car overnight.
The car burglary happened at about 3:30 Tuesday morning while the vehicle was parked outside Saint Agnes Medical Center in Northeast Fresno.
Someone took a 45 caliber handgun, a bullet-proof vest, two 30-round rifle magazines, and a pair of handcuffs from the vehicle.
Investigators say the thief left the lot in a light-colored Chrysler PT Cruiser, or similar type vehicle.
Anyone with information on where those stolen items might be is asked to contact the Fresno County Sheriff's Department at 559-488-3111.
