FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is dead, now police are trying to figure out how he ended up in a West Central Fresno street.
The body was discovered on McKinley near Sonora around 2:00 Wednesday morning.
Fresno police say a man was driving to work when he hit what he thought was a dog. It turned out to be a man, who was lying in the road.
Police say it appears the victim, who has not been identified, was lying in the road before he was hit by the car.
Now they're trying to figure out exactly what happened. The driver is not facing charges.
