Fire strikes home in north Houston; no injuries reported

  

HOUSTON -- SkyEye 13 HD was over a residential blaze in north Houston within Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters battled the flames pouring out of a house on Kirkfield near Chipman. Firefighters were able to search the home and get the fire under control after about half an hour.

The house suffered extensive damage, but so far there are no reports of injuries.

HFD Arson has been called to investigate cause of the fire.
