Dozens jump into frigid Galveston Bay at second annual Special Olympics Texas Polar Plunge

GALVESTON, TX -- Dozens of people jumped into the chilly waters at Stewart Beach in Galveston today for the second annual Special Olympics Texas Polar Plunge.
The first plunge was at 10am. Each adult jumper paid $60 and it was $30 for children younger than 18.
Proceeds will help support more than 2,000 Special Olympics athletes in the Gulf Coast area.
