Man found stabbed to death in apartment

  

HOUSTON -- Houston police are investigating a fatal stabbing in southwest Houston.

At about 10:30am Wednesday, Eric Dwayne Shears, 43, was found dead in his apartment in the 2900 block of Fountain View Drive. Police say a family member found Shears and called for help.

Shears had suffered multiple stab wounds and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

There is no known motive or suspect at this time. Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
