One dead in Fresno County fiery car crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The crash happened around 8 p.m. Monday near Kearney Park, on Kearney and Garfield.

Police say the victim was driving east on Kearney when the car drifted, slammed into a palm tree and burst into flames. The person, whose identity has not been released, died in the vehicle.

Authorities are investigating what caused the crash.
