3 suspects sought in Fresno home invasion

Thursday, March 14, 2013

Police are searching for three men who broke into a Northeast Fresno home and attacked an elderly woman while her disabled son was sleeping.

The home invasion happened on Utah and Recreation shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday. Fresno police say the three men kicked the front door of the home and tied up the woman.

Authorities say the woman bit one man while the others searched through her home. She was able to run to the neighbors for help. That's when the men took off with a big screen TV and other items.

Authorities say they're interviewing witnesses to track down the men. At this point they don't believe the homeowner was targeted.
