11/06/07 (KFSN) -- Thousands of people in southern Mexico are living in shelters as flood waters continue to cover much of the area.
Overflowing waters from two major rivers in the state of Tabasco have just now started to subside.
At one point they were up to six feet above normal levels.
Since rivers first burst their banks on October 28th, at least half a-million people have been affected.
The Mexican consulate in Fresno has set up an account for people who want to help the flood victims.
