Cardinals Swoop In on Marshall

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- On the first day teams could sign free agents, the Arizona Cardinals wasted no time snatches up former Bulldog and NFL veteran cornerback Richard Marshall.

Marshall agrees to a one-year contract with the Cardinals after spending the first five seasons of his career with the Panthers.

Several teams contacted Marshall, including the Jets, 49ers and Raiders, but felt Arizona was the best place for him.

Marshall already knows some of his new teammates, former Bulldogs Stephen Spach, Bryan Robinson, Desia Dunn and AJ Jefferson are all currently on the Cardinals roster
