FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Playing its last season in the conference they have dominated for decades, the Fresno State softball team is gearing up for one final WAC championship run, and more.
The Bulldogs return 11 letter-winners and five starters from last year's team that reached the NCAA Tournament for the 30th-straight season, which is an all-time NCAA record.
Head Coach Margie Wright enters her 27th season at Fresno State. She scheduled 35 home games for her Bulldogs this season, allowing a solid group of newcomers the chance to adapt quickly.
