81 year old Tarkanian is now living in Las Vegas after retiring from Fresno State back in 2002. Amy Tarkanian said her father-in-law had been fighting a cold for several days and went to the doctor Tuesday just to make sure it wasn't turning into something more serious. While he was there, he had some trouble breathing and a doctor referred him to a specialist. That specialist told the coach he needed to be admitted to the hospital. "He went in, they did some tests and he did have a mild heart attack. However, he's recovering, he's doing very well. The doctors are very positive and the families are all taking turns overseeing him. Everybody's feeling positive right now," said Amy Tarkanian.
