FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The CIF State Basketball Playoff pairings have been announced with quite a bit of controversy when it comes to the Division I boys bracket.
Three-time defending valley champions Bullard earned a four seed in the new Open Division, not the Division I bracket, and will host Westchester on Friday night.
The team Bullard beat, Clovis West, got a two-seed in Division I bracket, and will host 15-seeded Rancho Verde of Moreno Valley on Wednesday. That will be a part of a doubleheader with the Clovis West girls, who got a number three seed in the Division I bracket, and will host Millikan high of Long Beach.
The Hanford West boys got the Division II eight-seed, and will host Mira Costa high of Manhattan Beach on Wednesday. That will be a doubleheader with the Huskies ladies, who got the number seven-seed in the girls Division III bracket. They'll host Santa Barbara.
