Fresno State's Linehan Earns Mountain West Honor

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Diamond Dogs may have lost two out of three to San Diego State over the weekend, but a standout performance from left hander Tyler Linehan wasn't overlooked.

The Mountain West named Linehan the conference pitcher of the week on Monday, after a dominating performance Friday night. The junior out of Sacramento threw a complete game shutout in his first start of the season, striking out seven while scattering eight hits.

Fresno State is at Pacific Tuesday night.
