Police arrested Christopher James Hooker, 41, at his Modesto home.
Detectives first began to investigate Hooker after the mother of an Enochs High School student reported what she thought was an inappropriate relationship between her 18-year-old daughter and Hooker.
During that investigation, detectives discovered a separate victim involved in a relationship with Hooker in 1998 when she was a high school student.
Hooker is accused of sexually assaulting the then 17-year-old victim.
