If you have the Facebook app on your iPhone or iPad, you are about to get an upgrade.
Facebook is overhauling its application after complaints of slow loading times. According to Facebook's product manager, the new version will be twice as fast in three areas -- when you initially open the app, when you scroll through the news feed, and when you open a photo.
The complete re-write will be available for users starting Friday in Apple's App Store. Facebook wouldn't comment on when its Android and other mobile app's would get a revamp.
