Highway 198 has Closed West of Coalinga after a Chemical Spill

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A chemical spill has shut down a section of Highway 198 in Western Fresno County.

The Highway Patrol says a big rig tanker has overturned in the hills west of Coalinga, spilling about 4000 gallons of a liquid fertilizer onto the roadway.

Highway 198 has been shut down in both directions near the Fresno-Monterey County line.
