Frances Dinglasan is the traffic anchor on the weekday ABC7 Morning News and on ABC7 News at 5 p.m.

Occasionally, she also doubles as a weather reporter.  In 2004, 2005, and 2006, Frances and the morning traffic team won the "Best TV Traffic Reporting" award from the Radio and Television News Directors Association.

A Bay Area native, Frances earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from U.C. Berkeley and a B.A. in Economics from U.C. Santa Cruz. She then worked for United Airlines as an Engineer, Finance Analyst, and a Strategic Planner for Engine Maintenance.

Her career path took a turn from business to broadcasting when her sister volunteered Frances as a contestant in ABC's reality show,"The Bachelor." Frances lasted only three episodes, but has worked in Broadcasting since 2003. Currently, she is studying Broadcast Meteorology.

Frances didn't find love on "The Bachelor" but she did find it commuting to work on San Francisco's J-Church MUNI line. She and her husband live in the City's Castro District near their MUNI stop.
