(KGO) -- Three years ago, a black bear cub was found orphaned and malnourished in a meadow between Lake Tahoe and Reno. Now Eli is king of the playground!

The tops of his ears fell off due to frostbite, but nurses at the Animal Ark sanctuary took him in and nourished him back to health and he now has a permanent home there.
