USS Hornet Fourth of July Party. Live music, entertainment and family activities. Come aboard this World War II aircraft carrier that has been converted into a floating museum.

Berkeley
Location: Berkeley Marina (201 University Ave.)

The biggest party is on the South Shore of the Berkeley Marina from noon-10PM. There's music, dancers, jugglers all for free! Adventure Playground, always a favorite, is open 11am-8pm. Sign up for an old-fashioned sack race, create a nature sculpture with environmental artist Zach Pine, or get your face painted. Try the giant slide or splash in the water at the beach! There's live entertainment from noon until 9PM on the main stage including MotorDude Zydeco, Suhaila Bellydance Company, Mo'Fone, and guitarist Steven Gary. Other entertainers around the marina include Tropical Sounds Steel Drums, UCA Capoeira, Failure to Disperse, Afro Cuban Rumba Drumming, Fred Anderson Comedy Explosion, and Coventry & Kaluza Clowns. There's art & craft booths, massages, free sailboat rides from 1-4pm, dragon boat rides from 2-6pm, and muchmore including the grand fireworks off the end of the Berkeley Pier at 9:30pm.

Hercules

The 4th of July Parade is co-sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and City of Hercules and takes place the morning of the 4th. You can see the parade go from Redwood Road to Sycamore Ave and then ending at Refugio Valley Park. Immediately after the parade, there will be food, games and booths so come and celebrate with family and friends in the park. The night of the 4th, fireworks light up the Hercules waterfront.

Livermore
Location: Robertson Park (3200 Robertson Park Rd.)

The fireworks are being shot from the Cupertino High campus and there will be no public access to the school. Handicap parking wpill be available at Creekside Park. Street closures 6pm - 12am: Finch Ave., Calle De Barcelona (between Miler Ave. and Finch Ave.), Tilson Ave. (between Finch Ave. and Tantau Ave.), Phil Lane (between Miller Ave. and Tantau Ave.), Stendhal Lane (between Shadygrove Dr. and Phil Ln.). After 6pm there will be NO pedestrian or vehicle access.

This 4th of July celebrate our nation's birthday with us! The Fireworks Salute will be launched at Gilroy High School on Saturday, July 4th at approximately 9:15 p.m. Only "Safe and Sane" Fireworks can be used from Wednesday, July 1st through Saturday, July 4th midnight.

Los Altos

A parade will begin at 11:05 a.m. Don't miss the ever-popular Stars & Stripes Dog Show. The Fireworks show is provided by Pyro Spectaculars and is scheduled to go off at 9:30pm sharp. The firing line site for the July 4th Pyrotechnic Show is located at the West end of Lepo Ryan Park.

Redwood City
Location: Downtown (Parade route begins at Brewster Ave. and Winslow St.)

Parade and festival begin in the morning, followed by a Fireworks Spectacular presented by the Peninsula Celebration Association high above the Port of Redwood City. Fireworks can be seen from downtown and anywhere west of Highway 101 where there is a clear view of the skies above the Port. They can also be seen from high points all over the Peninsula. "Novato Goes Green" - 17th annual 4th of July Parade. Every year Novato hosts fifteen to twenty thousand spectators and over 100 parade entries ranging from classic cars and vehicles from a military museum to Irish bagpipers and a Chinese drum and bell corps. Along the parade route, you will also find food and refreshment booths, and souvenir t-shirts.

American Canyon
