Meteorologist Leigh Glaser is the weekend weather anchor on ABC7 News at 6 and 11 p.m. She also reports on environmental and science issues.
Glaser was previously the ABC7 Morning weather anchor for 13 years.
Glaser is also known as the 'Pet Lady' in the Bay Area. She is instrumental in our Friday Midday feature Perfect Pet, which helps to find homes for abandoned animals.
Glaser joined ABC7 in April 1991 in a move from Los Angeles where she worked as a weather anchor and environmental reporter. Glaser has also worked at TV stations in Seattle and Durham, North Carolina.
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Glaser began her broadcasting career in Greenwood, Mississippi at WABG-TV, an ABC affiliate. Glaser holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Mississippi as well as a degree in Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
