San Jose teens charged with murder

SAN JOSE,CA (KGO) -- Two San Jose teenagers, 15 and 16-years-old, are under arrest and charged with murder.

They are accused of stabbing 15-year-old Michael Russell to death. His body was found Tuesday in the backyard of his Comanche Drive home in south San Jose.

Investigators say the attack does not appear to be gang-related or random. Police detectives have been working around the clock.

"There are very, very little info on this case and the reason the information is coming real slow, I think, is because they're still doing follow ups," said Sgt. Ronnie Lopez. "They haven't slept since it started. There's just not a lot of witnesses."

Police have not said yet what the suspects' relationship with the victim was or whether there are additional suspects.
