Uber rolling out on-demand ice cream trucks in SF

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- If you were ever craving ice cream and wished you could just summon an ice cream truck, now you can.

The San Francisco start-up "Uber" is expanding its services in seven cities Friday to on-demand ice cream delivery. To use the app, users just tap on the icon, set their location, and send their ice cream request. The truck will deliver a bundle of five ice creams for $12.

The service is available beginning Friday in San Francisco from noon to 6 p.m.
