Back in February, Karla Cornejo showed up with her bridesmaids to "Danielle the Dressmaker," also known as Danielle Pettee, two weeks before her wedding for the final fitting. But the bridesmaid dresses weren't anywhere close to being ready.
Pettee promised to repay both Cornejo's deposit, as well as the deposit of another bride.
Four months later, Cornejo has received $350 of her $400 deposit. But Pettee had not yet paid back any of the $200 owed the other bride.
"I didn't loan her the money; it was money I paid as a deposit to receive dresses and that wasn't fulfilled, so I expected my money back," Cornejo said.
