A gardener has put a giant zucchini on eBay. She is hoping it can bring in enough money to help fix the town's clock tower, which has not worked in years.

"No government handouts, no stimulus package, just New Harmony doing was New Harmony does best, which is everybody working together," zucchini grower Sally Roth said.

New Harmony sits in southwestern Indiana -- a community of about 1,000 people.

Residents estimate they will need about $16,000 to fix their clock.

At last check, the eBay zucchini auction has only brought in about $300.
