Amazon.com has a deal for California: the online retailer says it will bring 7,000 new jobs to the state - if the state delays a new law requiring the company to collect sales tax.

Amazon wants a two year delay to give Congress time to pass the law. The company says it would also stop a ballot initiative attempting to overturn the law. Amazon has made similar deals with other states and currently is refusing to collect the tax while it attempts to get the law overturned.
