UNION CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- More than 100 workers at the American Licorice company in Union City went on strike starting at 1 a.m. Workers say they're striking over issues related to pay and benefits.
No comment yet from the company. American Licorice is best known for making the popular Red Vines candy. Depending on how long the strike goes on it could get harder to find the popular candy on store shelves.
