SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Macy's will be doing more than its annual Thanksgiving Day Parade this year.
The retail giant is breaking tradition and plans to open some of its stores on Thanksgiving.
This marks a first in Macy's 155-year tradition.
The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting Macy's will be open for 24 hours straight when doors at some its stores open at 8 p.m.
