California's students may not have so many bubbles to fill in on state standardized tests in the future. (KGO) -- California's top education official, Tom Torlakson, just unveiled a new system of student achievement testing. It's supposed to emphasize a student's critical thinking skills, rather than them just choosing the best answer. The standardized tests measure students' progress in English and math, and qualify high schoolers for graduation.
