George Lucas marries in Marin County

MARIN COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- Legendary 'Star Wars' filmmaker George Lucas got married in a ceremony at Skywalker Ranch in Marin County over the weekend.

His bride is Mellody Hobson, a personal finance contributor to CBS News. They met in 2006 and have been engaged since January.

People Magazine says the couple was supposed to get married this coming Saturday in Chicago, where Hobson lives, but they pulled a switch.

Director Ron Howard and actor Samuel L. Jackson were among the guests. The ceremony was conducted by journalist Bill Moyers.
