Book features athletes in whole new light

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- An amazing photographer is capturing athletes in a whole new light for a book called "Athletes Among Us."

Photographer Jordan Matters said he wanted to show professional athletes going about their everyday lives.

The book features the B.ay A.rea D.erby girls (B.A.D.) getting on MUNI in a photo called "Commuting." Another shot is called "Sunday Shopping." It shows an NFL player in a grocery store.

Matters said it took some serious convincing to get the store manager on board for the stunt.
