On Saturday morning, right here on ABC7, the third season of the acclaimed series "Sea Rescue" gets underway.
The show is hosted by Good Morning America weathercaster and environmental journalist Sam Champion.
The program follows a team of marine animal experts from Sea World as they rescue, treat, and release injured and trapped sea life including turtles and baby dolphins.
Champion says the show also educates people about the dangers of everyday items left in the wrong place.
He says some of the team's adventures this season will take place right here in the Bay Area.
"Sea Rescue" airs at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday, right here on ABC7.
