The Food and Drug Administration has approved a new H1N1 vaccine to help ease the nationwide shortage.

More than seven million doses of swine flu vaccine have been ordered from drug maker Novartis and preliminary test results show a lower dose of the vaccine may be enough to provide immunity from the virus.
