Whole fat dairy products that some experts have said are not all that good for us, might actually be very good for some of us after all. Researchers now say these foods contain a fatty acid that may lower the risk of type 2 diabetes.
The study, released in the Annals of Internal Medicine, says people with the highest blood levels of this fatty acid reduce their odds of type 2 diabetes by 62 percent, but researchers caution it's too soon to make any specific dietary recommendations.
