Baldness breakthrough? Scientists grow hair on mice

Scientists in Japan have found a way to grow hair on bald mice. The breakthrough is raising hope for a potential cure for baldness.

The mouse hair grew after researchers transplanted bio-engineered tissue under the skin of the mice.

Researchers hope to have a comparable treatment for humans within 10 years.

The results are published in the science journal Nature Communications.
