SF Police Search For Carjacking Suspects

Saturday, October 29, 2005

The San Francisco Police Department is investigating an armed carjacking that took place this morning in the city's Richmond District.

San Francisco police Officer John Torrise said the victim was at a gas station located in the area of 27th Avenue and Geary Boulevard around 6 a.m. when two suspects entered his car.

The suspects, described only as black males, demanded the victim drive to an automated teller machine to withdraw cash.

Torrise said a gun was involved in the incident.

The suspects took the cash and dropped the victim off unharmed somewhere on Van Ness Avenue, Torrise reported.

Police are still looking for the suspects and the stolen vehicle, which is described as a silver four-door Honda.
