Lost Diamond May Be In Bag Of See's Candies

Dec. 20 - KGO (KGO) -- If you buy a bag of See's Candies you may find more than just chocolates. There could be a diamond ring!

But it's not a gift or promotion, it's a lost ring that has deep sentimental value.

It's the case of the missing diamond ring and it may be in a bag of candy and you may not even know it.

The ring belongs to Wanda Estrada. She says she was wearing the ring when she went to work Friday at See's Candies in Saratoga.

During her shift from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., the 65-year-old retiree says she noticed her diamond ring was missing and said she was incredibly busy bagging candy and that's where she thinks it is.

Estrada says the ring belonged to her older sister who died a year and a half ago. It's of great sentimental value. The ring is described as having three diamonds. It is white gold and also half gold.

She says she thinks it's in the bag.

They alerted all See's Candies stores throughout the area, so if you find it, you can return it to any See's.

It will make one candy lady happy this holiday season.
