Police Concerned About Missing Girl

Wednesday, January 18, 2006

Livermore police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 15-year-old girl, missing since December, whose case is now being investigated as an unknown circumstances missing person.

Kayla Reed was reported as a suspected runaway on Dec. 5. Her mother last saw Kayla at their home on Dec. 3 at 12:30 a.m., according to police. No one has seen or talked to her since.

Since she has not made any attempts to contact family and friends, police now consider Kayla an unknown circumstances missing person.

Kayla is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 115 to 120 pounds, with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Kayla's whereabouts is asked to contact Livermore police at (925) 371-4987.
