Muni Back To Normal Following Delays From Line Damage

Friday, July 27, 2007

Service has been restored on San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency lines this morning following delays due to overhead line damage, according to a spokeswoman.

Service was restored at 8:22 a.m., spokeswoman Janis Yuen said. Inbound line damage at West Portal halted the K, L and M trains from entering the Metro Tunnel at West Portal, according to spokeswoman Maggie Lynch.

Substitute bus shuttles were providing service between West Portal and Van Ness, making stops at the West Portal, Forest Hill, Castro, Church and Van Ness stations.
