DUBLIN, CA (KGO) -- An Amber Alert has been cancelled after the boy and the man he was with were located in Oakland Thursday afternoon.
Harold Bennett and Justin Nottingham were located by Alameda County Sheriffs a short time after Bennett's vehicle was found near the area of 8th Street and Mandela Parkway.
Bennett left his home with the 5-year-old Nottingham Wednesday night, saying they were going to McDonalds. Hours later, the man and child had not returned.
Bennet has been taken into custody and Nottingham appears to be in good health and will be returned to his family.
