The truck driver who plunged to his death, after losing control on the bay bridge S-curve, has been identified.

SIGN-UP: Get breaking news sent to you from ABC7Caltrans says Tahir Fakhar was driving at least 10 miles over the speed limit, when his truck went over a barrier, and fell 200 feet.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Fakhar had one speeding ticket on his driving record, in 1994 and he was considered at fault for an accident last year in Stockton.
On Tuesday night, Caltrans shut down two lanes of the Bay Bridge east of Treasure Island so they could install new signs urging drivers to slow to 35 mph through the S-curve.Today's latest headlines | ABC7 News on your phone
