RICHMOND, CA (KGO) -- Authorities in Richmond are investigating a suspicious vehicle fire Tuesday morning, and trying to determine if it is connected to a series of arson car fires this year.
Someone spotted a Ford pickup truck on fire short after 5 a.m. with smoke and flames coming from inside the vehicle.
Investigators say the fire started in the back seat of the truck, the doors were locked, and the rear window was broken.
There were no injuries.
