CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- Authorities in Contra Costa County are investigating a shooting on a popular walking trail that's left a man in critical condition.
It happened about 8:30 last night on the Delta De Anza trail in Pittsburg. Investigators say the victim was shot in the back of his head.
Both East Bay Regional Park police and Pittsburg police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No suspect information is available.
