STOCKTON, Calif. (KGO) -- The city of Stockton considered the epicenter of the nation's housing crisis has a new distinction this morning. It is home to the cheapest house in Northern California.
A two bedroom home was listed as a fixer-upper with a sales price of just $9,000. A retired general contractor just closed escrow on the house. He plans to spend about $6,000 to fix it up for his son.
