Police search for man who flashed gun outside hospital

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Police are searching for a man who flashed a gun at a woman outside Kaiser Permanente on W. MacArthur Blvd. Friday morning.

The woman says a man in his mid-30s got off an AC Transit bus and started a conversation with her. He then lifted up his shirt and showed her a gun in his waistband and took off.

A heavy police presence remains in the area as officers work with Kaiser security to look for the man.
