Oakland: Coroner's Bureau identifies motorcyclist killed in crash

OAKLAND, Calif. -- A motorcyclist killed in a crash in East Oakland on Thursday afternoon has been identified by the Alameda County coroner's bureau as 30-year-old Hayward resident Herman Gary.
The crash was reported at 3:36 p.m. near the intersection of 73rd Avenue and Weld Street.
The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, police said.
More details about the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
