FREMONT, Calif. (KGO) -- Three schools in the East Bay were briefly locked down after someone reported seeing an armed man near a school campus.
Police in Fremont received a call from someone saying they saw two men walking through a church parking lot near Walters Junior High School. The caller said one of them had a gun.
Police searched Walters for the possible gunman. Three neighboring schools were put on lockdown. So far, police have not been able to locate either of the men or a weapon.
