UNION CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- A carjacking in Fremont sparked a police chase that ended in Union City Sunday afternoon with a spectacular six-car crash.
Suspects driving a Mercedes roared into the Union Landing Shopping Mall parking lot. The car clipped a tree, hit an occupied vehicle, then plowed into five more cars before jumping a curb and coming to a stop.
Fremont police have two people in custody.
A woman was injured. Her condition is unknown.
