Thursday, August 22, 2013

Concord police say a dangerous and distinctive armed robber has struck again after hitting two stores last night and four in the past week. Detectives say he looks to be homeless.

The Pet Food Express at the Clayton Shopping Center in Concord was one of the targets last night. The UPS store, in the Vineyard Shopping Center on Clayton Road was also robbed. According to a report, the pet store was hit first at 6:00 last night and then the UPS store at 6:30 p.m.

A few days ago, two other stores in Concord were also robbed, Sally's Beauty Supply and the Yogurt Shack. Police believe those stores were also robbed by the same man. Witnesses say he looks homeless and is a white man with a bushy gray mustache, dirty and has a gun. No one has been arrested and no picture of the suspect has been released.
