The Sonoma County town of Cloverdale is asking for help caring for 16 golden retrievers rescued from a filthy home.

Medical care for the dogs has topped $15,000.

The cash-strapped city of Cloverdale does not have the money to neuter, vaccinate, feed, and house all 16 of them.
